MORNING SERVICE OF WORSHIP

October 4, 2026
10:55 a.m.

Piano: Claire DeArmitt

Our triune God assembles his covenant people for public worship in order to make known and renew their covenant bond with him and one another.

GOD CALLS US TO WORSHIP

God greets his people with the grace of the gospel and calls us to worship him in the
assembly. We respond to his call to worship with praise and prayer.

Hymn 216 Praise to the Lord, the Almighty

Invocation

Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever.
Amen.

GOD ASSURES US OF OUR CLEANSING IN CHRIST

God presents his perfect standard of righteousness; we confess our failure to obey his perfect standard; God assures us of his forgiveness through Jesus, who died for sin.

GOD HEARS OUR PRAYER AND RECEIVES OUR PRAISE

Through Christ, we can come with confidence to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Heb. 4:16). We honor the Lord God with our tithes and offerings.
